Fashion photographers have an advantage in the direction super models: their models posing know! But for someone like me, read most of the time with non-professional models (engaged, pregnant women, "common people"), part of the direction of the model is a challenge. What do "know pose"? It may sound simple, but is not posing for anyone. Professional models know how to use the body to create the desired effect, know the difference between poses for the female audience and male audience, you know turn the body over there, turning the body over here, doing a sexy look, do take a look, leave outstretched neck ... if you ask they will do. And how much of the quality of a picture comes from the direction ... it's great when you have this item less to worry about. Tips for photographing ordinary people When we are driving non-professional models have to "teach" them in a few steps, what the professionals know a lot of practice. To get good pictures is essential that you let your pictured comfortable and beautiful. Some tips to get there:

Being confident - the "common person" is much more comfortable when they see the actions of the photographer who knows what he is doing. Shoot, look, praise. Replace "hmmm ... that was not very good, let's try another way" with "great! You are beautiful, we do so .... " Talking - during the session does not mind talking. Raise the chat and go beyond the elevator speech. People are released when they get a little more intimate of the photographer. Continue doing this while stirring in the lights, say funny things ... let the mild weather for the person to be able to hold to the lenses. Teach poses - take great care to "move" in person, this usually results in a false pose and mechanics. Prefer show pose doing it yourself, illustrating and letting the person posing slightly. "Turn this way," "Look at that light," "look down", "look up". Depending on the type of session you can show poses in magazines or other photos that would be cool to play.

E você, como lida com seus modelos-não-modelos?

Explain what you are doing - it comes at the talk and is very cool because you will be interacting more with his model. It is not necessary to take a photography class, but to say that "this kind of light hides the imperferções skin" certainly no less than any woman piped with their closes. Give something for your model interact - if the goal of the session is to make some pictures with props try to get it to them. Seated poses with models, toys (for children), pets in the belly (in the case of pregnant women) and even ... else! If the session has more than one person is nice to start with the photos in the group, everyone is more relaxed. Dealing with people like us Unlike when photographed professional models is very interesting to keep a certain "humanity" as photographed ordinary people. Talk, be interested and basically create a link, even if only during the session, that person is good for life and good for business. :) And you, it deals with its non-models-models?
