PHOTOIMAGEBRAZIL 2009 movimentou cerca de R$ 50 milhões

O maior evento de foto e imagem da América Latina, a PHOTOIMAGEBRAZIL 2009, realizada pela Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, que aconteceu entre os dias 11 e 13 de agosto, no Centro de Exposições Imigrantes, em São Paulo, reuniu 130 expositores, 200 marcas, 300 lançamentos, 900 novos fotógrafos, 2.500 novos compradores e 4.000 novos presidentes, sócios e proprietários de empresas inscritos e mais de 26 mil visitantes, mantendo o perfil profissional do público. Além disso, se consolida como uma feira que lança tendências, apresenta novidades, entre elas um lançamento mundial da Samsung e reúne, em um só lugar, os principais presidentes das grandes marcas.

Novidade para 2010 é que a PHOTOIMAGEBRAZIL acontecerá no Expo Center Norte – Centro de Exposições e Convenções – durante os dias 3, 4 e 5 de agosto. “A mudança é um reflexo do setor, se adéqua às necessidades do mercado e traz benefícios aos nossos expositores e visitantes, como infra-estrutura e localização”, conta Eduardo Sanovicz, Diretor de Feiras da Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado.

Segundo a organização da feira, somente no primeiro dia houve um aumento de 20% de público comprador e durante os três dias de evento, todos os expositores contabilizaram mais de R$ 50 milhões em negócios, contra R$ 48 milhões, em 2008. Para a 18ª PHOTOIMAGEBRAZIL, mais de 60% do espaço da feira já foi comercializado. “Tínhamos tudo para ter um ano difícil, mas é uma edição de recordes, superamos o número de visitantes, o número de expositores e o valor de negócios realizados durante a feira”, afirma Duda Escobar, Show Manager da PHOTOIMAGEBRAZIL.

As empresas que participaram da 17ª edição da feira declararam que o evento se mostrou um importante fator de impulsão para seus negócios. Ivo Pereira, Diretor da T.Tanaka, presente na PHOTOIMAGEBRAZIL desde a primeira feira e há 57 anos no Brasil, revela “Estamos muito felizes este ano. É a primeira feira que fazemos após o lançamento da D 3000 e da D300S, as novas câmeras da Nikon. Foi um prestígio muito grande para nós poder apresentá-las, em primeira-mão, ao público da feira. Além disso, tivemos a oportunidade de estabelecer contato com muitos profissionais de vários estados brasileiros e com muitos fotógrafos, inclusive, os palestrantes convidados do FÓRUM.

”Por outro lado, pela primeira vez na feira, a Popay do Brasil se surpreendeu com o grau de profissionalismo dos visitantes. Segundo Tom Shen, Diretor de Expansão do Sub-Comitê de Digital Sinage “Em princípio nossa proposta era apresentar o Digital Sinage, mas pensávamos que o assunto não seria de interesse do público. Porém, nos surpreendemos. Não só houve grande interesse de todos os visitantes da feira como a maioria já quis fechar negócio.”
